What do other people think about my theory of necrophiliac individuals?
I was thinking that necrophilia might have something to do with the following type of scenario. An individual sees everything (ie. animals, people, etc.) in his surroundings as some sort of object (ie. table, telephone, computer, etc.) So, the individual might like the thought of having intercourse with a dead person appealing because he could leave it and come back to it, as it suited him. Also, he would not need to put any effort into finding/hunting something to be used as he desired as often. So, I think it might have a little bit to due with convenience or something. Also since he viewed everything as an object, he would not notice much of a difference between a live person, a blow up doll, or a dead person. But, I might be way off base. I am not a forensic psychologist or anything.
I thought that there have been accounts of good looking individuals who did not have difficulty dating who were necrophiliacs.
As opposed to the individual feeling having a fear of rejection, could it simply be that the corpse stay wherever it was places. So they would be able to have the corpse available and would not have limitations. For example, the necrophiliac individual might want to dress the corpse in a particular garment, place the corpse in a particular position, etc.

dude I so agree with you, im going to study forensic psychology and this subject has been on my mind for some time
I believe at least sometimes, the person does not see themselves as desirable to the opposite sex in any way. They’re social skills so poor that cannot begin to imagine a sexual or romantic conversation. The person’s only chance of a sexual experience in their mind is if the person was dead.
By increasing their self esteem, social skills, and physical appearance, they would be able to have more healthy fantasies and healthy interactions with potential romantic partners.
You are part of the way right in your assumption. Most psychologists believe that necrophiliacs see people as objects, so dead or alive a person is just an object (just as you presumed)
But where you are off, is they don’t view others that way because of its convenience, they do it because of fear. They fear the rejection of an alive person, because if they were to try to have sex with someone who was not dead they run the risk of being rejected. And they don’t want to take that risk. It is a psychological disorder that I’d like to study more in depth, but it has more to do with the fear of rejection of a real person than just pure convenience.
